Occupational Hearing Conservation

For the Audiometric Technician: CAOHC-approved hearing conservation training, taught by our staff audiologist, is regularly scheduled throughout the year. Full and recertification courses are available as well as customized on-site instruction. OSHA-required annual employee training can also be provided. Course Fee: $565 - full course; $395 - re-certification course (includes CAOHC application fee).

For the Program Administrator: A one-day hearing conservation course is offered for Safety and Health professionals charged with the day to day responsibility of administering a Hearing Conservation Program. It summarizes testing procedures, hearing protection devices, and current state and federal regulations concerning hearing conservation.

For the Professional Supervisor: A one-day course is also offered for the Professional Program Supervisor. OSHA mandates that an audiologist, otolaryngologist or physician must supervise the Hearing Conservation Program. This course is designed to cover advanced hearing conservation concepts for those professionals.

For the Employee: Per OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.95 requirement, annual employee education programs can be conducted by our occupational audiologist for your noise-exposed workers. Programs can be customized to your workplace and shifts.
